Aims of the course
The aim of this session is to help those working in the care environment to help the easing of the inevitable death with dignity.
This session is suitable for all staff. We will discuss the carer’s role in the residents end of life care, whilst respecting the residents needs and wishes.
Carers will undertake an assessment at the end of the session.

- Principles of a good death
- Legislation affecting end of life care
- Grief wheel
- End of life pathway
- Understanding policies and procedures
On completion of this course the attendees will have covered these topics along with a number of others.

2/3 hrs and a max 15 attendees or to suit your venue.
